DIGC101 Myspace Reflection
After starting a Myspace page from scratch to create a virtual band, I began by cuztomising my profile with an appropriate layout and adding profile info such as the ‘about me’ sections and interests. The next step was adding friends and I chose to start with other bands from the same genre as mine. Further cuztomising saw the embedding of video and images.
I definitely think Myspace is the best online platform for promoting a new band, even if it is a virtual, ficticious one. Compared to Facebook there are so many more options for creating an aesthetically appealing online profile that can contain audio, video and artwork.
Still not entirely sure how i can incorporate Delicious into this online world, but I’m sure I can figure something out in time.
